The newly formed Wayne County Arts Alliance will debut its vision at its premier event, Art After Dark, on Thursday, September 20th from 6 to 9 p.m. at RJ on Main. Admission is free.
Part of the Fall Fun Fest lineup, the evening will celebrate local art, live music, and community. Musicians Jim McGill and Connor Atteberry will provide entertainment, while attendees can browse and purchase handcrafted works, enjoy a pottery demonstration, and watch local painters at work outside RJ on Main.
A special space will also honor local artist Lucas Gifford, who recently passed away after a battle with cancer.
Guests will have the opportunity to view and purchase original artwork (items not for sale will be clearly marked), meet the artists, and enjoy light refreshments. Donations will be accepted to support the Arts Alliance’s mission of highlighting artists and inspiring community through creative expression.
The Wayne County Arts Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the arts across the county.
