The Edwards County Agriculture in the Classroom program is gearing up for its annual Autumn AgVenture, set for Tuesday, October 14th at Albion City Park. The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is open to children in grades K-5.
Students will enjoy a day filled with hands-on agricultural learning and fun fall activities. The schedule includes pumpkin painting, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, and ag lessons focused on soil.
The cost is $12 per child, and the registration deadline is October 7th. Forms were sent home with all Edwards County school students, but they can also be emailed, picked up from the Farm Bureau, or requested by calling 618-445-2113.
Organizers say the event is designed to help children connect with agriculture while enjoying a fun-filled day outdoors.
