The Clay City Post Office will reopen on Monday after being closed for several months due to storm damage.
Flora Postmaster Kim Griesemer says the post office, which has been closed since late March, forced Clay City PO Box customers to temporarily pick up their mail from the Flora Post Office. Customers are reminded that the final mail pickup in Flora must be made before noon on Saturday.
Starting Monday at 9 a.m., full postal shipping and mailing services will resume at the Clay City location, restoring normal operations for local residents.
