Jerry and Lois Greenwalt have been chosen as the 2025 Bean Days Parade marshals and will be honored during the parade next Saturday, September 27th starting at 11 a.m. in Wayne City.
The Greenwalts expressed their gratitude to the Wayne City Ruritans for this special recognition. They also extended heartfelt thanks to the many local businesspeople who helped them get their start years ago. Among those mentioned were George Kissner, Bill O’Daniel, Red Smith, Estel and Leon Barnard, Kissner & Weaver, Jack Garrison, Jr. Holman, and Troy Ison, who helped them acquire the old Sinclair building in Wayne City to open Greenwalt’s Car Care garage.
Later, the Greenwalts opened the NAPA Auto Parts store on West Robinson Avenue, which continues to serve the community. They also recognized and thanked all of their employees, both current and former, for their dedication over the years.
