Fairfield’s annual Fall Fun Fest wraps up today with the full day of activities.
A Community Breakfast will be served from 6:30 to 9:30 this morning at the Masonic Lodge. The Fall Fun Fest Rib Cook Off registration begins at 7 a.m. on the Elks parking lot with judging starting at 4 p.m. Registration for the Gerald J. Memorial Fishing Event begins at 7:30 this morning at the Leo French Park lake with the contest running from 8 to 10 a.m. At 8 a.m. a Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament will be held at Lakeside Park. The Lemonds Chevrolet Chrysler Car Show will be held on the dealership’s west lot, with registration from 8 to 11 a.m. and awards at noon. Registration for the Fall Fun Fest Baked Goods Contest runs from 10 a.m. til noon at RJ on Main with judging results at 1:30 p.m. The Hanna House 20th anniversary Birthday Celebration will be held from 10 a.m. til noon with a tour of the museum. Touch A Truck starts at 10 a.m. til the end of the Pedal Pull next to the High Rise. Registration for the WADI/Headstart Kiddie Parade will start at 10:30 a.m. at North Side School and the parade at 11 a.m. to the High Rise. There will also be Kiddie Korner Activities and a Petting Zoo following the parade on the High Rise lawn.
Afternoon activities include the Pedal Pull starting at noon by the High Rise. A Corn Hole Tournament begins at noon with registration at SE 2nd Street next to the Elks. At 2 p.m. the Fairfield Live Variety Show begins on the Main Stage. Kids activities run from 3 to 8 p.m. at Freedom Park. The FCHS Band will perform from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Main Stage. Bingo Under the Tent will run from 5 to 7 p.m. on SW 2nd next to City Hall. Chuck A Duch begins at 6 p.m. at the FNB drive through. And the Fall Fun Fest wraps up tonight with a performance by the Duke Boys from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the Main Stage.
