The Clay County Fire Chiefs have lifted the county-wide burn ban following significant rainfall throughout the area. Scattered showers over the weekend, along with heavy rain on Tuesday afternoon and evening, have brought much-needed relief after an extended dry period.
Residents are now permitted to resume outdoor burning activities. However, officials urge everyone to continue exercising caution, as weather conditions can change and fire risks may still exist in some locations.
