A unique culinary event is taking place this Saturday at the Flora Church of the Nazarene, located at 12 Parsons Lane in Flora. The annual Wild Game Dinner will feature a variety of exotic dishes.
Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., giving guests the opportunity to visit with various vendors before the meal is served from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. The menu promises a wide selection of wild game, including beaver, squirrel salad, fish, venison, alligator, and possibly more.
Admission to the event is free and in addition to the dinner, special guest speaker Ron Slifer will give a presentation about bloodhound services, offering insight into the unique skills and contributions of bloodhounds.
