WAYNE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT HANDS DOWN SENTENCES IN THEFT AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT CASES

The Wayne County Circuit Court issued sentences in two separate cases during Thursday’s session.

Dana M. Cosner, 38, of Flora, pled guilty to theft. Cosner was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to pay court costs. Additionally, Cosner must make restitution of $900 to the victim in the case.

In another case, Morgan Simmers, 31, of Murphysboro, pled guilty to disorderly conduct. Simmers was placed on 24 months of probation and must pay court costs. The court further ordered Simmers to undergo a psychological evaluation by a court-approved agency, complete 30 hours of public service, and granted credit for two days already served in the Wayne County Jail.
