CORN DAY 2025 RETURNS TO CARMI OCTOBER 9TH -11TH

The Carmi Chamber of Commerce has announced the schedule for Corn Day 2025, with events set for Thursday, October 9th through Saturday, October 11th. This year’s theme is “Cornstalk: Peace, Love & Hominy.”
Festivities kick off Sunday, October 5th with the Carmi League of Arts’ performance of Peace, Love and Harmony at the gazebo.

Thursday, October 9th features the opening of Swyear Amusement Rides at 5 p.m., followed by the White County Farm to Table Social Hour at 5:30 p.m. and Farm to Table Dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Friday, October 10th includes the Corn Day Pageant at 5:30 p.m., a Corn Hole Tournament, and a preview performance by the CWC Drama Department at 7:30 p.m., with live music from Rusted Spirit.
Saturday, October 11th will be packed with events, starting with the Guardian Center Candy Corn Run at 8:15 a.m. A car show, pet parade, kids’ CornDog Pawgeant, corn tasting, historical tours, and the traditional Corn Day Parade at 4 p.m. highlight the day’s activities. Evening entertainment features RENEE on the main stage, followed by a headline concert from country music star Chris Cagle at 7 p.m., with a 50/50 drawing to wrap up the festival.

Corn Day is one of Carmi’s oldest traditions, drawing crowds from across the region for family fun, food, music, and community pride.
