By Mark Wells Sep 30, 2025 | 11:55 AM

The Wabash County Sheriff’s Department is requesting assistance from the public in locating 26-year-old Clayton Jay Eubanks, who is wanted on a warrant for Criminal Sexual Assault, a Class 1 Felony in Illinois. The charge stems from an incident in November 2023, in which Eubanks allegedly used physical force during a sexual act.

Eubanks is described as a white male, 5’11” tall, weighing 127 pounds, with hazel-colored eyes and a goatee. Authorities believe he may have connections in Iowa and could be headed there.

The Sheriff’s Department considers Eubanks dangerous and advises the public not to approach him. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office at (618) 262-4258. A $1,000 cash reward is being offered for information leading to his capture.
