LYDIA SHELBY NAMED OCTOBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH AT EDWARDS COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL

Lydia Shelby has been selected as the Edwards County High School October Student of the Month. Shelby was chosen from a group of outstanding nominees, including Gabe Beadles, Grace Brands, Cash Conner, Jax Duncan, Emmalyn Merriel, Katie Robb, and Erik Wallace.

Shelby was nominated for being a well-rounded student who is always willing to learn. As the Student of the Month, she will receive a variety of prizes donated by local businesses and organizations. Her awards include $25 cash from Matthes Farms, $20 cash from Country Home Processing, a $10 gift card from Bailey’s Bistro, a cooler bag, umbrella, and water bottle from Doug Raber State Farm, a canteen from Kelli Savage Country Financial, a hat from The Smokin’ Pig, a Bobe’s Pizza slice gift card, a t-shirt and bag from Greathouse Grazing Acres, a $10 gift card to Colyer Coffeehouse, and a bag of goodies from Waters Farms.

The Student of the Month program recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding character and a commitment to learning. Congratulations to Lydia Shelby on this well-deserved honor.
