2025 CLAY CITY FALL FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES FULL WEEKEND SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Organizers of the 2025 Clay City Fall Festival have released the complete schedule for this weekend’s festivities.

Friday, October 10th:
The festival begins on Friday with the collection of donation cans for the Fall Festival King and Queen, as well as Little King and Little Queen contestants. Donations will be gathered on Friday and delivered to the Clay City Banking Company by 4 p.m.

Parade participants will line up at 4 p.m. on the frontage road by the Community Southern Baptist Church, with the parade stepping off at 6:00 p.m. Friday evening’s events also include a foam party, s’mores for kids, and a Halloween costume contest, all starting at 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, October 11th:
Saturday’s activities kick off early, with Clay City Civics serving breakfast from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. (donations accepted). The tractor show starts at 8:30 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m., offering dash plaques to the first 20 entries. Inflatables, vendors, the Frog Jumping Contest, and the basket raffle all begin at 9 a.m. The basket raffle continues until 4 p.m. To donate a basket, call or text 618-839-1639 or drop it off at The Pit Stop Café by 2 p.m. on Friday.

Lazer tag will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the pedal tractor pull takes place at 11 a.m. The cornhole tournament starts at noon, with a $40 entry fee per team, open to all ages. The top three teams will split a 70% payout.

Wagon rides are scheduled from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., and the Cake Walk starts at 1:30 p.m. Desserts for the Cake Walk should be dropped off at The Pit Stop Café by 2 p.m. on Friday. At 3 p.m., teams of three can compete in the Mummy Contest, which is free to enter, with ribbons awarded to the winners. Local musician Noah Atwood will perform on the main stage from 3 to 5 p.m.

Clay City Civics will serve chili starting at 5 p.m. ($3 per bowl or $20 per gallon). The crowning of the Kings and Queens will take place at 5:30 p.m., followed by the auction at 6 p.m. The festival concludes with a live performance by Orry Kraw from 8:00 p.m. until midnight.
