CRAWFORD COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE TERMINATES DEPUTY FOLLOWING SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY VIOLATION

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department in Robinson in a news release Wednesday announced that Deputy Ian Kasemeyer, who has served with the department for nearly two years, has been terminated following an internal investigation into conduct on social media that violated department policy. The termination is effective immediately.

The internal investigation was initiated after allegations of inappropriate conduct surfaced on October 5th. The investigation concluded that Deputy Kasemeyer’s actions were in violation of the department’s professional standards and policies.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office says they remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct for all personnel, both on and off duty.
