Fairfield Community High School (FCHS) and the FCHS Alumni Association are inviting alumni, friends, and community members to celebrate Mule pride and tradition during this year’s Homecoming weekend, highlighted by the 60th Annual Alumni Banquet on Saturday, October 18th at the Fairfield Elks Lodge, 201 SE 2nd Street.
The evening begins with a cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and a program to follow. Tickets are $25 per person or $200 for a table of eight, with pre-registration required.
2025 ALUMNI BANQUET SPEAKERS
Steve Griswold – Class of 1975
A 1975 graduate of FCHS, Griswold earned a degree in business and marketing and spent much of his career in the supermarket industry. Married to Rhonda Crask of Edwards County for 47 years, he is the proud father of two children and grandfather of four.
Deeply involved in local churches throughout his life, Griswold currently serves as Lead Pastor at First Christian Church of Wayne City. Representing the Class of 1975 on its 50th reunion year, Griswold said he looks forward to sharing memories and reflections on his Fairfield roots.
Tyra Holt Cycholl – Class of 1993
A standout three-sport athlete at FCHS, Cycholl won back-to-back state titles in the 400-meter dash (1991–1992) and anchored the state champion distance medley relay team in 1992.
She attended Stanford University, where she became the first woman pole vaulter to hit the mat, later setting the American record in the event. Cycholl was a two-time All-American, a four-time Pac-10 qualifier, and represented the U.S. at the 2000 Nashida Cup in Japan.
After earning her law degree from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law, she founded Cycholl Law PLLC in Olney, specializing in estate planning and property law. She lives in Olney with her husband, Dr. Brandon Cycholl, and their three children, Savannah, Owen, and Prairie.
