NORTH WAYNE CUSD #200 BOARD TO REVIEW AUDIT, FEASIBILITY STUDY, AND RISK MANAGEMENT PROGRAM AT OCTOBER 15 MEETING

The North Wayne Community Unit School District #200 Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, October 15th at 6:00 PM. The meeting will take place at Cisne Middle School.

Items on the consent agenda include the approving of minutes from the September budget hearing and regular meeting, personal leave and dock days requests, and granting Pee Wee Basketball use of school facilities for practices. Financial matters will be a significant focus, with reports including the approval of bills, a Treasurer’s report, and an income review. During the non-agenda portion, the Board will hear communications, comments from visitors, and a report from the Superintendent.

The Board will address several important new business items. Krista from Kemper CPA will present the district audit, after which the Board will discuss and potentially act on the audit, a district feasibility study, and updates to the North Wayne CUSD 200 Risk Management Program.

An executive session to discuss personnel matters, student discipline, litigation, collective bargaining, and property matters. Specifically, the Board will consider the Classroom Aide position at Johnsonville Elementary School and the possibility of submitting a bid for property adjacent to Cisne High School.

The meeting is open to the public.
