The Wayne County Memorial VFW and Auxiliary will hold a joint fundraiser tomorrow night (Thursday October 16th) at the Fairfield VFW. The event will begin at 5 p.m.
Funds raised at the event will benefit the Illinois National Home, which provides housing for veterans and their families. Organizers are currently raising money for a gator utility vehicle to be used on site.
Thursday night will also be cheeseburger night at the VFW, and all proceeds from the evening will go to the national home for this project.
