Carmi Police arrested a Carmi man Thursday night following a traffic stop.
Reports from White County say 51 year old David Simmons was arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of Cannibis in a Motor Vehicle and having No Valid Driver’s License following the traffic stop. He was also ticketed for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration due to mandatory insurance.
Simmons was given a notice to appear and released the same day.
