The Edwards County community is preparing to honor Mary Beth Smith, longtime County Clerk and Recorder, with a special retirement reception on Friday, October 31st. The event will take place at the Edwards County Courthouse, 50 E Main St, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Residents, friends, and colleagues are invited to attend and celebrate Smith’s years of dedicated service to Edwards County. Refreshments will be served as attendees gather to express their gratitude and share memories of Smith’s impactful career.
At the conclusion of the reception, Melanie Knight will be officially sworn in as the new County Clerk and Recorder at 3:00 p.m.
