Wayne County Clerk, Liz Ann Woodrow is reminding all candidates that all petitions for Democratic and Republican offices in the next election must be filed during the designated filing period from October 27th to November 3rd. Petitions should be submitted either at the Springfield State Board of Elections office or at your local County Clerk’s office.
Officials emphasize that any petitions filed before October 27th or after November 3rd will not be accepted. Candidates are urged to ensure their paperwork is submitted within the official window to qualify for the upcoming election.
