Fairfield’s annual Veterans Day parade is scheduled for Saturday, November 8th, at 2 p.m. The parade lineup will take place on North First Street at the High Rise. All community members, including area civic organizations, are invited to participate. No registration is required—participants should simply arrive at the starting point before the parade begins.
The day’s events will start with a breakfast at St. Edwards Catholic Church from 7–9 a.m. Those planning to attend the breakfast are asked to call Dennis Zurliene at 618-599-8168 to help the church prepare.
At 1 p.m., the Fairfield Community High School Show Choir will perform the National Anthem, followed by a performance from the Roasted Chestnuts, leading up to the start of the parade.
