The Fairfield Lady Mules Volleyball team was in action Tuesday night for their first game at the Mt. Carmel Class 2A Regional. The #2 Seed Lady Mules faced off with #7 Seeded Robinson. Fairfield got the win over Robinson in straight sets, 25-16 & 25-13. The Lady Mules now advance to the Regional Championship on Thursday night versus the #3 Seed Benton, who earned a straight set victory over #6 Seed Mt. Carmel.

The Blue Jays bounced back from a heartbreaking loss to beat the Dodgers 6-2 in Game Four of the World Series. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. launched his seventh home run of the postseason after hitting a two-run shot off Shohei Ohtani. The two-way star was charged with the loss after allowing four runs on six hits and a walk. He also went 0-for-3 at the plate with a couple of strikeouts. The World Series is now even at two games apiece with Game Five slated for tonight in Los Angeles.

The St. Louis Blues are on a five-game losing streak following a 5-2 loss to the Detroit Red Wings at Enterprise Center. Brayden Schenn scored in the first minute of the game to give St. Louis an early lead, but the Blues gave up the next four goals of the game and trailed the rest of the way. Jordan Kyrou also lit the lamp in the losing effort. The Blues are in last place in the Central Division with seven points. They host the Canucks tomorrow night. The St. Louis Blues are losing one of their top forwards for over a month. The team placed winger Jake Neighbours on injured reserve yesterday. Neighbours suffered a right leg injury during a game against the Red Wings on Saturday. He is expected to miss at least five weeks. Neighbours has six goals and one assist in eight games this season.

Connor Bedard scored his first NHL hat trick as the Chicago Blackhawks crushed the Ottawa Senators 7-3 at United Center. Bedard scored one goal in each period, and he also had an assist in the victory. Colton Dach, Louis Crevier, Ryan Donato, and Frank Nazar also lit the lamp for Chicago. The Blackhawks are in fifth place in the Central Division with 12 points. They visit the Jets tomorrow night.

(Undated) — The Patriots made a pair of moves on Tuesday. New England traded defensive end Keion White to the San Francisco 49ers and safety Kyle Dugger to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Pats will also be sending a 2026 seventh round pick to the Niners for a 2026 sixth round pick, and a seventh round pick to the Steelers for a sixth rounder. White was originally selected in the second round of the 2023 by the Patriots, who also took Dugger in the second round of the 2020 draft.

It is linked to GMB Chronicles, a company incorporated in 2024 that holds trademark rights to Rozier’s nickname, “Scary Terry.” This comes as Rozier is under federal investigation in an FBI gambling probe involving him and former NBA head coach Chauncey Billups. Rozier faces charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering unrelated to the IRS lien.

Multiple reports say Kesler pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. A Michigan district court has ordered Kesler not to leave the state without permission. The alleged incident happened in January in Orchard Lake. The two-time NHL All-Star has been suspended by the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association and all USA Hockey activities amid allegations.
