An Albion man has been arrested for allegedly failing to register as a sex offender, as required under Illinois law.
55-year-old, Mark B. Noble of Terminal Street in Albion was taken into custody Wednesday by the Edwards County Sheriff’s Department after investigators determined he had not met registration requirements.
Noble was originally placed on the Illinois Sex Offender Registry following a 2015 Wayne County conviction for aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 13. He was sentenced at that time to three years of probation and 180 days in the county jail.
Noble is scheduled to appear in Edwards County Circuit Court on December 12th.
