The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department reports two arrests on Saturday.
On Saturday morning, deputies arrested 35-year-old Jacob Woolever of Fairfield on a Wayne County warrant charging him with Failure to Appear and Driving While License Suspended. Woolever was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he is being held pending a court appearance.
Later that day, on Saturday night, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Illinois Highway 15 at County Road 105 East, west of Keenes. Blake Lane, 34, of Mt. Vernon, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Lane was transported and booked into the Wayne County Jail, then released with a Notice to Appear in Wayne County Circuit Court.
