A detention hearing is scheduled for Thursday for 18-year-old Caleb Stringfield of Fairfield, who faces a Class 2 felony charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse involving a victim at least five years younger.
Stringfield was jailed on October 28th and remains in custody pending the hearing. Public Defender Jon Meador has been appointed to represent him.
