From October 29th to November 1st, members of the Edwards County FFA attended the 98th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. Those representing the chapter included Parker Biggs, Cheyenne Duncan, Abby Gill, Kami Keener, Aiden McDowell, Quentin Pike, Chase Shelton, Emily Spray, Bri Swartzbaugh, Alyson Williams, and Sydney Williams.

Thanks to careful planning by chapter advisors, the students were able to experience a wide range of activities, including attending convention sessions, exploring the National FFA Expo and Shopping Mall, enjoying the FFA Rodeo, and attending a concert featuring Ernest and Ella Langley.

This year’s convention also brought notable honors for the chapter. Alyson Williams, now attending Lakeland College, received the prestigious American FFA Degree — the highest recognition an FFA member can earn. In addition, the Edwards County FFA Chapter was recognized nationally as a 2-Star Chapter, marking another successful year of achievement and growth.
