By Mark Wells Nov 7, 2025 | 11:54 AM

After several months away, the Eastern Illinois Foodbank will return to Clay County on Monday to help local families facing food insecurity.

The Foodmobile will be set up at the Louisville Baseball Field from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. This will be the only Clay County stop for the Foodmobile. Attendees are asked to bring their own boxes or bags to carry food items.

Pre-registration is encouraged at www.EIFclient.com, though it does not guarantee a spot in line. Income eligibility guidelines are available at eifoodbank.org.

The distribution is part of the Foodbank’s Foodmobile Program, which brings nutritious food directly to rural and underserved communities.

For those in need of regular assistance, the Clay County Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry is open Mondays from 9 to 11 a.m. at 1101 Austin Avenue in Flora.
