Faron M. Talbert, 70, of Cisne, Illinois, passed away at 3:34 pm November 7, 2025 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. He was born August 22, 1955 in Johnsonville, Illinois to the late Bernard and Colleen (Caudle) Talbert. Faron married Joan (Brookman) Talbert on November 18, 1978 in Johnsonville, Illinois and she survives.
In addition to his beloved wife, Faron is survived by his daughters, Jami Smith and Jodi Webster and husband, Nick; grandchildren, Haley Smith, Bailey Webster, Marshall Duffield, Lotus Webster, and Vivian Webster; sister, Paula Thompson and husband, Leroy; and brother, Mark Talbert and wife, Melissa.
In addition to his parents, Faron was preceded in death by his siblings, Alan Talbert and Pauletta Talbert.
Faron was a member of Johnsonville United Methodist Church and the Johnsonville Ruritan Club. He worked for many years as a truck driver. Faron enjoyed all kinds of music. Most of all, he loved his family and neighbors. Faron will be deeply missed by all who knew and cared for him.
A Greeting of Family and Friends will be held Friday, November 14, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 am with Mr. Mark Talbert officiating. Memorials may be made in Faron’s honor to the Johnsonville United Methodist Church.
