Wayne County Coroner Shari Winter has confirmed that 19-year-old Clark Ewing of Fairfield died from complications related to Neurofibromatosis, a type of brain tumor. His death on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at his home on 605 ½ SW Fourth Street, has been classified as natural.
Ewing was found at his residence. Illinois State Police, local authorities, and the Wayne County Coroner investigated the death and confirmed that no foul play was involved.
