Ginger Ale’s in Fairfield has permanently closed its doors. The drive-thru restaurant at 1400 West Delaware shut down at 8 p.m. Saturday after franchise owners Kylie Peveler and Courtney Meadows were notified of the closure on Friday.
In a social media post, Peveler and Meadows expressed heartbreak over the closure, citing “unforeseen factors beyond our control.” They thanked customers for their support, loyalty, and the memories shared since the restaurant opened in June 2022, and apologized for the short notice.
Ginger Ale’s continues to operate locations in Olney and Robinson, Illinois, as well as Vincennes and Terre Haute, Indiana.
