The North Wayne Community Unit School District #200 Board of Education will hold its regular meeting on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Cisne Middle School.
The agenda includes approval of October meeting minutes, staff leave requests, FMLA requests for two employees, and consideration of switching the district credit card from American Express to Capital One starting January 2026. The board will also consider approval of an overnight trip for four Cisne High School FFA students to attend the BUILD Conference in Bloomington/Normal on November 24th & 25th.
Financial business includes payment of bills, the treasurer’s report, and an income review. The board will hear communications, visitor comments, and the superintendent’s report.
In new business, the board will discuss tentative approval of the tax levy and possibly set a hearing date, along with advertising for open positions for the 2026-27 school year.
An executive session may be held to discuss personnel matters, student discipline, and collective bargaining. Possible action items after executive session include consideration of a classroom aide position at Johnsonville Elementary and entering an agreement with BLDD for a district organization study.
