The St. Louis Blues are still in a tailspin following a 4-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights at Enterprise Center on Saturday. The Blues gave up the first four goals of the game before Philip Broberg scored a garbage-time goal with just over four minutes left in regulation. St. Louis is tied for last place in the Central Division with 16 points. The Blues visit the Maple Leafs tomorrow night.

The Chicago Blackhawks scored a pair of goals in the third period during a 3-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs at United Center on Saturday. Teuvo Teravainen knocked in the game-tying goal before Colton Dach scored the game-winner with under five minutes left in regulation. Ryan Greene also lit the lamp in the victory. The Hawks are tied for third place in the Central Division with 22 points. They host the Flames tomorrow night.

(Champaign, IL) — The Illinois Fighting Illini scored in every quarter during a 24-6 win over Maryland at Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Luke Altmyer passed for 172 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in the victory, while Hudson Clement caught a pair of TD’s. The Illini are tied for sixth place in the Big Ten with a 4-and-3 conference record and a 7-and-3 mark overall. Illinois is at Wisconsin this Saturday.

Illini Hoops Destroy Colgate

(Champaign, IL) — The number-14 Illinois Fighting Illini men’s basketball team is still undefeated following an 84-65 win over Colgate at State Farm Center on Friday. The Illini held a 41-30 lead at halftime and went up by as many as 24 points in the second half. David Mirkovic poured in 27 points in the victory, and Keaton Wagler finished with 19. Illinois improved to 4-and-0. The Illini take on number-nine Alabama in Chicago on Wednesday.

Northwestern Loses In Final Seconds

(Chicago, IL) — The Northwestern Wildcats just missed pulling off an upset during a 24-22 loss to number-18 Michigan at Wrigley Field on Saturday. The Wildcats gave up a game-winning 35-yard field goal as time expired. Preston Stone pased for 184 yards and tushed for a touchdown in the losing effort. Northwestern is tied for 11th place in the Big Ten with a 3-and-4 conference record and a 5-and-5 mark overall. The Wildcats host Minnesota this Saturday.

(Undated) — Another Sunday on the NFL calendar is in the rearview. Week 11’s Sunday slate wrapped up with the Eagles taking down the Lions 16-9 in an NFC clash in the City of Brotherly Love. Other top results from the day included the Broncos notching an eighth straight victory with a 22-19 win over the Chiefs, Brock Purdy and the 49ers throttling the Cardinals 41-22, the Bills beating the Buccaneers 44-32 behind six touchdowns from Josh Allen, and the Dolphins defeating the Commanders 16-13 in overtime in Madrid. Week 11 concludes with the Las Vegas Raiders hosting the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football.

(Pittsburgh, PA) — The Steelers are hoping their star quarterback avoided a serious injury. ESPN reports the team has an “initial concern” that Aaron Rodgers suffered a “slight break” in his non-throwing hand. The quarterback will undergo further testing on Monday. Rodgers got hurt just before halftime and was replaced by Mason Rudolph in a 34-12 win over the Bengals.

(Pittsburgh, PA) — The NFL is reviewing an altercation between opposing members of AFC North teams. Steelers safety Jalen Ramsey told the media that Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase spit on him during Sunday’s game. The defensive back threw a punch at Chase and was ejected when the incident happened early in the fourth quarter. The Cincy star denies spitting and said he “never opened his mouth” to Ramsey.

(East Rutherford, NJ) — The Packers got some bad news in their win on Sunday. Green Bay running back Josh Jacobs will undergo testing after suffering a knee injury during his team’s win over the New York Giants. ESPN reports that the injury is not believed to be season-ending. Jacobs has rushed for 648 yards and 11 touchdowns so far this season.

>>Jets Cornerback In Critical Condition After Being Shot In NYC

(New York, NY) — New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd is in critical but stable condition after being shot in Midtown Manhattan Sunday. The shooting happened early Sunday morning outside of a restaurant, where officers found Boyd with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Police say they’re looking for a man who fled the scene in a blue BMW, although what led to the shooting is currently unknown. Boyd has not played yet this season after suffering a shoulder injury in the preseason.

(Philadelphia, PA) — The Eagles owner is stepping in to help an unhappy player. ESPN reports Jeffrey Lurie met with AJ Brown during practice late last week. The star receiver promised he would stop complaining on social media but expressed his frustration with his lack of involvement in the offense. Brown recently said he just wants to “win” and it’s not all about his own situation.

(Southampton, Bermuda) — Adam Schenk took home the first PGA Tour win of his career, shooting 12-under par to claim victory at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Schenk finished just one stroke ahead of second-place Chandler Phillips and two shots ahead of the five golfers tied for third place. The PGA Tour season wraps up next weekend with the RSM Classic in Georgia.

In ranked action, number 11 Oklahoma upset Alabama 23-21 in Tuscaloosa, fifth-ranked Georgia spanked number 10 Texas 35-10 at home, number nine Notre Dame took down number 22 Pittsburgh 37-15 on the road and number 17 USC dispatched number 21 Iowa 26-21 in Los Angeles. In other top 25 action, third-ranked Texas A&M overcame a 27-point halftime deficit to beat South Carolina 31-30 in College Station, Navy upset number 24 South Florida 41-38 at home and Arizona went on the road to knock off number 25 Cincinnati 30-24. The next College Football Playoff rankings will be released Tuesday.
