TEN ARRESTED AFTER THREE DRUG-RELATED SEARCH WARRANTS IN CARMI

Carmi Police executed three search warrants that led to the arrest of ten individuals and the seizure of significant quantities of drugs and paraphernalia. Officers recovered more than 430 grams of methamphetamine, numerous drug-related smoking devices, used hypodermic syringes, tourniquets, controlled substances, illegal amounts of cannabis, drug paraphernalia, and multiple electronic devices. Those arrested and at what Carmi addresses include:

105 Fairview Drive Arrests:
James Christian Stevens, 29; Amber Walkenbach, 41; Nathan Egbert, 41 and Brian Brock, 50.

205 Railroad Avenue Arrests:
Bobby Morrill, 48 and Crystal Boaz, 44.

708 7th Street Arrests:
Oscar Bartlett, 37; Robert Bowles, 68; Charles Newman, 65 and Tabitha Steele, 45.

All individuals were transported and are being held in the White County Jail, except Tabitha Steele, who was released on a recognizance bond per the State’s Attorney’s Office.

The investigations remain ongoing.
