Fairfield Memorial Hospital honors an employee each month who has been nominated by their peers for providing extraordinary patient care and customer service within and outside of the Hospital.
Gloria Bare, RN, of the Emergency Department, has been selected as Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s November 2025 Employee of the Month. Gloria began her career at FMH in Admitting on August 18, 2017, before transitioning to the Emergency Department as an LPN Tech on October 21, 2019. She continued to advance her clinical skills and professional growth, becoming an ER Registered Nurse on July 15, 2020. Gloria truly embodies our hospital’s mission through her commitment to excellence, patient safety, and teamwork.

“Gloria’s journey at Fairfield Memorial Hospital is a true testament to her dedication and passion for patient care. She began her career here before entering nursing school, continued working throughout her education, and has grown into an exceptional ER nurse and emerging leader. Her natural curiosity and drive to understand the “why” behind every practice have shaped her into a trusted resource for both staff and providers. Today, Gloria serves not only as a skilled clinician but also as a respected preceptor and mentor, playing an active role in onboarding new team members, participating in mock drills and educational initiatives, and contributing to ongoing patient-flow and safety improvements. Her leadership was further demonstrated through her instrumental role in reorganizing the trauma room to enhance efficiency and patient safety. Gloria’s professionalism, compassion, and steady presence uplift the entire ER team and exemplify the mission and values of Fairfield Memorial Hospital.” Commented Dawn Murbarger, BSN, RN, EMT-P, LI, CEN, Emergency Department Manager
