GRAYVILLE POLICE INVESTIGATE TWO BURGLARIES: CASH AND JEWELRY AMONG STOLEN ITEMS

By Mark Wells Nov 26, 2025 | 5:51 AM

Authorities are investigating two separate burglary incidents reported over the weekend of November 14th through the 17th.
The first burglary occurred at Bradford Supply on Court Street. Employees discovered the crime upon opening the store Monday morning, finding approximately $200 missing from a money box. According to Police Chief Mason Siegel, there were no signs of forced entry, but footprints were found on a desk beneath a window, leading investigators to believe the suspect entered through that window. Bradford Supply officials are currently reviewing surveillance footage to help identify those responsible.

In a second incident reported on Saturday, November 15th, officers responded to a burglary at a residence on North State Road. Police found a large window shattered and the home in significant disarray. Stolen items include multiple totes of jewelry and a black gas-powered bicycle. Illinois State Police Crime Secne technicians assisted in processing the scene.

Anyone with information regarding either burglary is encouraged to contact the Grayville Police Department’s non-emergency line.
