The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, Cisne Fire Department, and Wayne County Ambulance personnel responded just after 11:30 Monday night to a motor vehicle accident on County Highway 12, just north of 1600N and south of Johnsonville.
According to reports, a vehicle struck a utility pole, causing airbag deployment. One person was transported to Fairfield Memorial Hospital for evaluation. Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies handled the accident.
