The Fairfield Lions Club needs your help. Saturday, January 3rd, the Fairfield Lions Club will be collecting Christmas lights that no longer work. The collection site will be at the west side of the Cornerstone Community Church located at the corner of Delaware and First Street, from 9:00 a.m. until noon. In addition to Christmas lights the club will also be accepting donations of eyeglasses, hearing aids, empty ink cartridges (no laser printer cartridges), cell phones, soda tabs, keys, and tennis shoes without Velcro closure. These items will be recycled and the proceeds used to help fund Lions Club programs throughout our local area. Any donation made, whether big or small, is greatly appreciated.
