Students pursuing careers in the healthcare field at Olney Central College (OCC) and Frontier Community College (FCC) have an exciting new opportunity for financial support. The Kenton Peak Scholarship, a $1,000 annual award, is now available to assist those studying para-medical fields, emergency medical response, and other healthcare-related programs.
The scholarship may be granted to either an incoming freshman or a returning sophomore at OCC or FCC. Funds can be applied to tuition, textbooks, fees, and other program-related expenses, helping students take critical steps toward becoming first responders and healthcare professionals.
To qualify for the Kenton Peak Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be enrolled in a para-medical, EM responder, or healthcare program at FCC or OCC
Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA
Take an active role in emergency preparedness
Plan to serve as an EMT or healthcare provider after graduation
The deadline to apply for the Kenton Peak Scholarship is February 27, 2026.
