The Wayne County Health Department (WCHD) has announced the availability of flu shots for the community. According to the department, vaccines are now being offered for individuals ages 6 months and older. Both insured and uninsured residents are welcome to receive their vaccinations.
Flu shots are available Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Walk-ins are accepted, and appointments can also be scheduled for added convenience. The health department encourages everyone to get vaccinated to help prevent the spread of influenza this season.
