Seniors Emme Doan, Jax Duncan, Abby Gill, Sydney McGillivary, Alice Robb, Adriel Short, Carlin St Ledger, and Emily Spray have been named 2026-2027 Illinois State Scholars for Edwards County High School.
The Illinois Student Assistance Commission’s State Scholar program recognizes high school students across Illinois for superior academic achievement. Illinois State Scholars represent approximately the top 10% of high school seniors statewide and are selected based on their ACT scores and class rank at the end of their junior year.
These eight students join a select group honored for their academic excellence and leadership.
