On Monday, the Edwards County FFA hosted the Section 23 Public Speaking Leadership Development Event and Quiz Bowl competitions at Edwards County High School. The public speaking contests featured a range of categories, including Varsity and Junior Varsity Extemporaneous, Varsity and Junior Varsity Prepared, and Creed Speaking.
Quentin Pike represented Edwards County FFA in Varsity Extemporaneous Public Speaking, earning third place overall.
The Edwards County FFA Varsity Quiz Bowl team claimed first place for the evening. Team members included Quentin Pike, Emily Spray, Parker Biggs, Kayden Alexander, Cody Greathouse, and Cheyenne Duncan.
