
CASA for Kids expressed heartfelt gratitude to McLeansboro Elks Lodge #1882 on Tuesday, following a generous donation that will help the organization continue its mission of serving vulnerable children throughout the region.
“It takes a village, and we are blessed with the best community members,” CASA for Kids shared in an online statement, highlighting the importance of local support in their efforts.
CASA for Kids provides court-appointed volunteer advocacy for children involved in the child welfare system. Trained volunteers work to ensure every child’s best interests are represented in court, offering a consistent and caring adult presence to advocate for their safety and well-being.
The organization serves children across nine counties, including Clay, Clinton, Effingham, Fayette, Franklin, Hamilton, Jasper, Marion, and White counties. The support from McLeansboro Elks Lodge #1882 will help CASA for Kids continue its vital work in the community.
