Dorothea (Halley) Perry 81, of West Frankfort, IL. passed away Monday, December 29, 2025 at her residence. Dorothea was born November 20,1944 in Belle Prairie, IL. She was a daughter of Edward O. Halley and Wilma (Severs) Halley.
Dorothea was a homemaker and a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in West Frankfort. She loved taking care of people less fortunate than herself.
Survivors include her sons, Stephen Perry, West Frankfort and Ronald Perry and wife Lauren, Smyrna, Georgia, daughters Kristina Vick, Benton, IL. and Paula Murray and husband David, West Frankfort, IL. Also surviving is a brother George Edward Halley, Grant Park, IL. and a sister Wilma Sue Anderson, Cortland, IL. Nine grandchildren and three great grand children also survive along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Dorothea was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Janice Mayberry and a brother Donald.

Services for Dorothea Perry are as follows; 10am Friday, January 2, 2026, there will be a Rosary followed immediately by a Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Piopolis, IL. with Father Slawomir Ptak officiant. Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, Piopolis, IL.
