Lisa Marie Shreve, 51, of Carmi, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026. She was born on December 13, 1974, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of James Lee and Doraine Kaye (Binkley) Shreve. Lisa enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Most of all, she enjoyed being a mom and taking care of her children. Lisa is survived by her father, James Shreve; her children, John Edgil of Lincoln Park, MI, Danny Shreve of Riverview, MI, Shawn Baker of Carmi, IL. and David Shreve of Detroit, MI; a grandchild, Grayson Shreve; her longtime companion Joe Baker of Carmi, IL and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother, Doraine Shreve; two children, Nora Khalson and Daniel Khalson; and a brother, David Shreve. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Roberts and Cook Funeral Service has been entrusted with arrangements.
