
The Edwards County Farm Bureau has opened applications for its 2026 scholarship programs, providing valuable opportunities for students pursuing higher education in agriculture and trades.
The Young Leaders Scholarship will offer two or more awards to students who will be freshmen or sophomores in college, have studied agriculture, and have participated in 4-H or FFA throughout high school. Applicants must have an Edwards County address. The deadline for this scholarship is March 1st.
The Foundation Scholarship provides at least one $1,000 award to a junior or above in college studying agriculture. Interested students must also apply by March 1st.
Additionally, the Vocational and Trades Scholarship is open to students seeking a vocational or trades degree or certificate during the 2026–2027 academic year. Applicants must have graduated from Edwards County High School or be a resident of Edwards County. The deadline is March 1st.
