During its annual holiday dinner, the Fairfield Rural Fire Department recognized Chief David Vaughan for his remarkable 30 years of leadership. The celebration took place at the Cider Barn venue south of Fairfield, where firefighters and their families enjoyed dinner and an evening of ice skating.
Chief Vaughan was commended for his dedication and service to the department over the past three decades. In recognition of his milestone, he was presented with a specially designed American flag plaque featuring the department’s logo.
Alongside his role as Fire Chief, Vaughan also serves as an outpost lineman for Wayne-White Electric Cooperative.
