The Fairfield Community High School District #225 Board will convene for its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, January 15th at 6:00 p.m. in the FCHS Study Hall.
The meeting will open with roll call, followed by action on the consent agenda. Items up for approval include minutes from the December 18, 2025, regular meeting and the January 7, 2026, special meeting, any additions or deletions to the agenda, financial reports for district accounts, the imprest fund, activity account, petty cash, and journal entries, as well as approval of payment of bills.
Visitors will be recognized, and a student focus segment is planned. Superintendent and principal reports will be presented, including updates on the district’s revenue and expenses, current bank CD rates, a recent ROE compliance visit, and ongoing strategic planning and RFP activities.
Under new business, the board will consider approval to set dates for graduation and prom. Old business will also be addressed as needed.
A closed session is scheduled for discussion of personnel matters, including employment, appointment, retirement, and the annual evaluation of the district superintendent. Upon returning to open session, the board will consider action on the employment of a long-term substitute.
The board retains the right to revert to a prior order of business if necessary before adjourning the meeting.
