A small attic fire broke out just after noon on Monday at a residence located at 506 Locust Street in Mill Shoals, prompting a swift response from the Fairfield Rural Fire Department and Fairfield City Fire Department
Fairfield Rural Fire Chief David Vaughan reported that the fire originated in the attic of the home and was caused by wiring issues. Firefighters arrived quickly and were able to contain and extinguish the blaze within approximately 10 minutes.
No injuries or property damage were reported,
