Republican candidate for Governor Darren Bailey, along with his running mate Aaron Del Mar, has announced plans for a five-day statewide bus tour later this month. The “Take Back Illinois – For The People” tour will cover 19 stops across the state from January 20th through 24th, aiming to connect with voters ahead of the upcoming election.

Day three and four of the tour, Thursday, January 22nd and Friday, January 23rd, will bring Bailey and Del Mar to three regional stops in Southern Illinois. The first event is scheduled for Thursday from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at Culver’s 1105 S 42nd St, Mt Vernon, on Friday, the Carmi Motel Coffee Shop from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a lunchtime stop at the Smokerise Steakhouse in Olney from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. The day will continue with additional events in Danville and Champaign.

Bailey’s tour is designed to rally Republican voters and share his campaign’s vision for the state, emphasizing grassroots engagement and direct conversation with Illinoisans. The campaign says the tour will address key issues of concern to voters and highlight Bailey’s commitment to “taking back Illinois for the people.”
