Wayne County Circuit Court Judge, Matt Vaughn, issued sentences in several cases during Thursday’s proceedings:
Corey Budde, 33, of Cisne, pled guilty to Disorderly Conduct, a Class C misdemeanor. Budde was placed on six months of court supervision, ordered to pay court costs, required to comply with an Order of Protection, and received credit for one day served in the Wayne County Jail.
Michele Ferguson, 57, of Fairfield, pled guilty to Retail Theft. She was placed on one year of court supervision, ordered to pay court costs and $136.74 in restitution to Walmart. A review hearing is set for December 19. One count was dismissed under a plea agreement.
Antonio Gill, 49, of Fairfield, pled guilty to Retail Theft and was sentenced to one year of conditional discharge plus court costs. He received credit for five days served in jail. One case number and one additional count were dismissed as part of the plea deal.
Allen Harrison, 60, of Fairfield, pled guilty to Criminal Trespass to a Residence. Harrison received one year of conditional discharge, must pay court costs, and is ordered not to enter a property on Shoreway Drive in Fairfield. He was credited for one day served in jail, and one count was dismissed per the plea agreement.
Kenneth Newman, 38, of Fairfield, pled guilty to Driving While License Revoked. He was sentenced to two years probation, 15 consecutive weekends in the Wayne County Jail, and court costs. Newman received credit for one day served. A review hearing is scheduled for December 14, 2027. One count and one case number were dismissed under the plea agreement.
Joel Waldrop II, 37, of Wayne City, pled guilty to Domestic Battery. Waldrop received one year probation and court costs, with credit for two days served in jail. A review hearing is set for December 15.
Haley Morgan, 30, of Fairfield, admitted to violating probation from a previous charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Morgan was resentenced to six months conditional discharge, ordered to pay court costs, and received a stayed sentence of 120 days in jail, with credit for eight days already served. Two cases were dismissed as part of the plea deal.
Crystal Wallace, 38, of Princeton, Indiana, pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine stemming from an August 2023 offense. She was sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, plus court costs, and received credit for 22 days already served.
