HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL:
On Friday night, the Fairfield Mules Basketball team was on the road for a conference matchup at Carmi-White County. Despite a slow start, the Mules pulled away in the 2nd half to finish off the Bulldogs with a decisive 52-23 victory. The Mules were led in scoring by Cruz Wells with 12 points. The JV Mules also got a decisive victory over Carmi with a score of 58-23 and were led in scoring by Zach Vaughan with 13 points. Fairfield’s Freshman squad kicked off the sweep of the Bulldogs with a 43-31 win to start the night. The Mules now move to 11-8 overall and 5-0 in the conference and will next be in action versus Harrisburg Monday night at the Carmi-White County Invitational Tournament.
